She obtained her certificate in dental hygiene from Howard University in 2015. Dentistry runs in the family as her mother is a dental assistant and her older brother is a dentist. Their experience and knowledge help fuel her passion in dentistry but also make for lively dinner conversations. She enjoys educating patients about the oral systemic, a healthy body starts with a healthy mouth. Putting patients at ease and providing a calm environment is Cristina's specialty.
Aside from dental hygiene she loves staying active by hiking, weightlifting and yoga. In her time off she also enjoys traveling, ask her about her road trip up the west coast! She is also a huge animal lover and fosters dogs for a local DC rescue organization.
