Dr. Richard Fordjour completed his undergraduate education at Morehouse College, where he studied Biology. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Tennessee, Health Science Center in 2005. Since graduating from dental school, Dr. Fordjour developed his clinical skills by working in a variety of settings ranging from upscale private practice to clinics for the underserved. These varied experiences enable him to provide his patients an array of treatment options specific to their needs.
Dr. Fordjour understands that visits to the dentist can be stressful for most people, and therefore approaches every visit with genuine concern and a gentle chair-side manner. His treatment philosophy combines advanced conservative dentistry with total patient comfort. He values his patients’ time and strives to achieve successful results by listening to his patients’ requests before providing the necessary care.
Dr. Fordjour believes in providing the most cutting edge treatment and therefore invests a lot of time in attending courses in continued education throughout the country. He has been trained by some of the profession’s leading dentists on restorative and cosmetic procedures. He has remained a member of organized dental associations since 2005 and is deeply passionate about community involvement and volunteerism.
Dr. Fordjour is an avid lover of jazz music, and enjoys playing drums, tennis, long distance running, and laughing out loud!
